2009 Calendar of Events and Outreach Calendar

October 18-21. Stonerose plans to attend the Geological Society of America conference in Portland, OR

October 31. Stonerose closes for the season.

January 23-25. Stonerose will have a booth at the Seattle Travel Show.

March 7. Stonerose will be at the Burke Museum of Natural History in Seattle for DINO DAYS

April 8. Stonerose will be at the Curlew School Science Fair.

April 10. Outreach Program will be at the Nine Mile Falls School.

April 16 - 20. Unbiased insect collecting effort for paleoentomologist Dr. Bruce Archibald. For additional information contact Jan Hartford at janh1207@hughes.net. April 18. Dr. Bruce Archibald will give a presentation on Republic insects, 6:30 at Tamarack Pizza. Everyone welcome. Please RSVP by April 15.

April 25. Membership Dig from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. May join or renew membership at Stonerose Interpretive Center prior to searching for fossils.

April 25. Membership Annual Meeting 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. The Membership Meeting will be held at the K Diamond K Guest Ranch. Refreshments will be served.

April 26. Annual Stonerose Art, Antique and Collectibles Auction. This is a very fun social event, this years theme will be "Western." If you have an item you would like to donate or would like to attend call 509-775-2295 for details.

	Scheduling an Class Field Trip


	The cost for educational groups is $1.00 per person. Tool Rentals are $3.00 per set plus tax ($3.23). Reservations for field trips can be made by emailing Catherine Brown or calling 509-775-2295 to reserve a date. Since we only schedule one field trip per day please call in advance to reserve a date.
